David Gilmour anuncia el álbum en directo "The Luck and Strange" y la película "Live at the Circus Maximus".
"Live at The Circus Maximus" será estrenada en cines el 17 de septiembe. El 17 de octubre estará disponible en 2 Blu-ray (esta edición incluye en audio 5.1 The luck and strange concerts) y 3 dvd. La película recoge el concierto que Gilmour ofreció en el Circo Máximo de Roma como inicio de la gira Luck and Strange.

Por su parte, "The Luck and Strange", que también será publicado el 17 de octubre —en 4 elepés, 2 cedés y una edición super deluxe edition— contiene una selección de tomas en directo de la gira Luck and Strange.
Tras el lanzamiento del quinto álbum en solitario de Gilmour, «Luck and Strange», en septiembre de 2024, el ex guitarrista y cantante de Pink Floyd protagonizó una gira de 23 conciertos para promocionar el disco.
Cada canción del disco corresponde con un concierto del tour mundial, informan desde Efe. En total, 23 canciones, correspondientes a 23 actuaciones que le llevaron por escenarios como el Circo Máximo de Roma, el Royal Albert Hall de Londres o el Madison Square Garden de Nueva York.
Tras los conciertos de pretemporada en Brighton, Gilmour se dirigió al Circo Máximo de Roma para seis shows con entradas agotadas. Tanto el próximo álbum como la película están tomados de la actuación de Gilmour en Italia.
«Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome» se presentará en IMAX en cines selectos a partir del 17 de septiembre. Un mes después, estarán disponibles las versiones en álbum y vídeo de la película del concierto.
Los conciertos de «Luck and Strange» se lanzarán en un pack de dos CDs y un pack de cuatro LPs. Además, estará disponible una caja Super Deluxe que incluye un libro de tapa dura de 120 páginas con fotos de la gira tomadas por Polly Samson, esposa de Gilmour y colaboradora en el LP de 2024, además de otros formatos.
